120 g milk chocolate
30 g dark chocolate
1 tsp vegetable oil or coconut oilDecoration
150 ml whipped cream
2–3 Kinder Bueno bars, halved

Directions
- Make the Sponge
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a 10×15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
Beat eggs and sugar for 6–8 minutes until pale, thick, and tripled in volume.
Mix in vanilla.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
Fold the dry ingredients gently into the egg mixture.
Mix milk and oil together, then fold in carefully.
Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the sponge springs back when touched.
- Roll While Warm
Dust a clean kitchen towel with cocoa powder.
Turn the hot cake onto the towel and peel off the parchment.
Roll the sponge up with the towel from the short side.
Let it cool completely.
- Prepare the Filling
Beat mascarpone, icing sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Add cold whipping cream and whip until stiff peaks form.
Fold in hazelnut spread.
Stir in chopped roasted hazelnuts.
- Assemble
Carefully unroll the cooled sponge.
Spread the hazelnut cream evenly, leaving a 1 cm border.
Roll tightly again.
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Decorate
Melt the chocolates with the oil until smooth.
Drizzle generously over the chilled Swiss roll.
Pipe whipped cream down the center.
Top with Kinder Bueno halves.
Sprinkle chopped roasted hazelnuts over the top.
Chill for another 20–30 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Beat the eggs well—the sponge relies on the whipped eggs for its light texture.
Roll the cake while it’s still warm to prevent cracking.
Use cold mascarpone and cold cream for a stable filling.
Chill before decorating and slicing for clean, neat swirls.
For an even richer flavor, spread a thin layer of Nutella over the sponge before adding the cream filling.
